£39400 pro-rata
A prestigious high-end jewellery designer, based in the heart of Belgravia, London, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join its friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised accounting professional who enjoys working in a luxury environment where discretion, accuracy and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities*Process sales and purchase invoices
*Reconcile client deposits and other receipts
*Update cash books and post transactions to Sage
*Prepare and process supplier payment runs
*Perform bank reconciliations
*Post credit card transactions and payroll journals
*Prepare annual accounts to review stage
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Complete pension submissions
*Produce internal financial and management reports
*Maintain accurate financial records and support the smooth running of the finance function
About YouThe successful candidate will have:
*Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience in a similar role
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
*A high level of computer literacy and experience using accounting software
*Proficiency in Sage is essential
*The ability to work accurately, efficiently and meet deadlines
*A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
*An understanding of the importance of security when working within a business handling high-value items
*A professional, discreet manner with a strong appreciation for client confidentiality
