Audit Senior – Responsibilities
Audit delivery
*Plan, execute and lead audit fieldwork across a varied portfolio of clients.
*Ensure work is completed to a high technical standard and within budget.
Client relationships
*Act as a key point of contact for clients during the audit process, building trust and rapport.
*Identify areas where the firm can add further value beyond the audit itself.
Team support & development
*Support and coach junior team members on-site, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
*Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture across the Chester office.
Technical & compliance
*Keep up to date with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
*Support the manager/partner group with technical queries and file reviews.
Audit Senior – Requirements
*ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist, with solid external audit experience.
*Background in a Big 4, Top 20 or mid-tier practice.
*Confident managing audit fieldwork and liaising directly with clients.
*Strong technical grounding with the ambition to progress to Manager.
