A long-established, multi-service organisation is seeking a Commercial Director to lead commercial performance across several divisions, strengthen client relationships, and drive continued growth. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial delivery in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
*Integrate quickly into the team and organisational culture
*Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
*Lead commercial strategy, pricing, margin review, and cost control
*Review and approve tenders prior to submission
*Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities
*Drive cross-selling across multiple service lines
*Support marketing activity, including social media and web presence
*Contribute to board-level discussions and strategic planning
*Coach, mentor, and develop managers into effective leaders
*Produce and present commercial and performance reports
*Monitor supplier, client, and subcontractor performance
*Identify and secure new business opportunities through networks, digital channels, and referrals

*Energetic, proactive, and commercially astute
*Strong communicator with proven leadership capability
*Comfortable working strategically and operationally
*Background in construction, new build housing, flooring, interiors, or cleaning services desirable
*Strong financial/commercial understanding essential
