Job Description:
Full job descriptionJob Purpose
To provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals, enabling them to live as independently as possible while promoting their dignity, choice, rights, and wellbeing. The Support Worker will assist individuals with daily living activities, social inclusion, and achieving personal goals in line with their care and support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
*Promote independence, choice, and control in daily activities.
*Support individuals to achieve personal goals and outcomes.
*Encourage participation in community activities, education, employment, and social opportunities.
Essential Criteria:
*A minimum of 6 months Previous experience in a care, support, or healthcare role in the UK
*Knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred care, and relevant legislation.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (where applicable).
Working Conditions:
*Shift-based role, including days, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays as required.
*Work may take place in residential homes, supported living services, or within the community.
*Role may involve manual handling and supporting individuals with varying levels of need.
