Description
*Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, specifically US GAAP.
*Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the department.
*Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
*Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
*Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*Professional accountancy qualification eg ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
*Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations, specifically US GAAP - this is a non negotiable.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a temporary role within a fast-paced environment.
Job Offer
*Daily rate between £300 and £350, depending on experience.
