Join our dedicated team as a Housekeeper and contribute to providing exceptional hospitality experiences. We are looking for a motivated individual to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness in our assigned properties, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
The Role
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned properties, ensuring that they are always prepared for guests. Your role will involve managing pre-arrival setups, during-stay services, and departure cleaning, while maintaining cleanliness in various areas and following health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
*Clean and maintain assigned properties to the highest standards, ensuring they are always guest-ready.
*Maintain cleanliness in hallways, staircases, lifts, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas using appropriate products and equipment.
*Run water outlets regularly to prevent legionella growth, record results, and report fluctuations.
*Periodically turn mattresses and manage pre-arrival, during-stay, and departure cleaning.
*Secure properties, ensuring alarms are correctly set and only authorised individuals enter.
*Report maintenance issues and discrepancies in laundry or other services to your supervisor.
*Assist with stock takes, monitor equipment, and ensure timely replacements.
*Maintain crockery, cutlery, and table linen, and report damages.
*Fulfil guest requests promptly, manage food orders, and care for house pets or children when required.
*Follow all Health and Safety regulations and handle manual tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
*Is able to speak and understand English.
*Has experience in professional housekeeping and can handle the physical demands of the role (preferred).
*Has training in the safe handling of hazardous chemicals (preferred).
*Holds a valid UK driver’s license, preferably manual (preferred).
