Full job descriptionSenior HR Business Partner
Location: Extensive hybrid working, with occasional travel to the Cambridgeshire head office and limited international travel.
Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract, with Potential for Permanency
Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per annum (full-time equivalent)
We are partnering with a leading international food and supply chain services organisation to recruit an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a
6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team, including a direct reporting line to the Co-CEO, supporting the delivery of an ambitious growth agenda. The successful candidate will bring strong international HR experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to operate independently within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Working alongside senior executives, you will help shape and deliver the People & Culture strategy, translating business objectives into practical people initiatives that build organisational capability and support long-term growth.
The Role
As a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor, you will support corporate functions by developing and implementing people plans aligned to business priorities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to ensure the organisation
has the talent, capability, and culture needed to achieve its objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver the People & Culture strategy and aligned people plans.
* Leading and managing complex employee relations matters, both individual and collective, ensuring commercially sound and legally compliant outcomes.
* Coaching, mentoring, and challenging leaders to build management capability and drive high performance.
* Supporting colleague engagement, talent development, and performance management through the PDR process.
* Providing guidance on organisational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
* Managing pay and benefits processes within budgetary parameters.
* Supporting equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives across the business.
* Advising on international mobility, secondments, and people matters relating to overseas entities and venture businesses.
* Contributing to a positive, high-performing culture that supports business growth and employee engagement.
About You
You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong track record of partnering with senior leaders in complex, international organisations. You will be commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously while
influencing at the executive level.
You will bring:
* Significant HR Business Partnering experience within a corporate environment.
* Experience supporting international operations and geographically dispersed teams.
* Strong employee relations expertise, including complex case management.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at the senior leadership level.
* Experience of organisational change, talent development and culture initiatives.
* A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
* The ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
