Full job descriptionInterim FP&A / Financial Modelling Contractor – Refinancing Project
£400 – £500 per day
2 – 3 month contract / Hybrid (4 days onsite) / Immediate start


We’re working with a PE backed business going through a key refinancing process and are looking for an experienced FP&A / Finance contractor to come in and provide hands on support to the CFO and Finance Controller.
This is not a lead role — it’s a delivery focused position where you’ll be strengthening the finance team with additional capacity across modelling, forecasting and data preparation during a busy and time-sensitive period.


What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with senior finance stakeholders to:
*Maintain and develop an integrated 5-year financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
*Build and refine scenario and sensitivity analysis to support refinancing requirements
*Update forecasts and underlying assumptions as the business evolves
*Pull together and validate financial data from multiple sources
*Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis
*Prepare analysis and outputs for lender and stakeholder requests
*Contribute to refinancing packs and supporting schedules
*Help ensure consistency, accuracy and clear documentation across all model outputs


What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and working in detail within Excel and financial models. You’ll likely come from an FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partner background and have:
*Strong advanced Excel and modelling skills
*Experience building or maintaining financial forecasts or 3-statement models
*Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
*Good understanding of cash flow and financial planning processes
*The ability to work quickly, accurately and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


Any exposure to refinancing, debt processes or banking covenants would be beneficial, but the key requirement is strong hands-on modelling and FP&A capability
