Job Description:
Full job descriptionPortfolio Payroll are currently working with a Logistics company based in Birchwood who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality payroll service while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The role:
*Payroll Administrator to process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
*Set up and pay new starters & leavers
*Record and validate time & attendance, absence, sickness, and holiday data
*Payslip production
*BACS payment processing
*Support pension administration, including auto-enrolment
*Deal with payroll queries
*Support payroll projects and continuous improvement
About you:
*1-5 years’ payroll administration experience - Salary depends on experience
*Strong data entry and accuracy skills with high attention to detail
*Good working knowledge of payroll processes and statutory requirements
*Experience using payroll systems
*Confidence using Excel
*Strong organisational skills
*Problem solver
*Ability to manage multiple deadlines
*Customer service focussed
