Full job descriptionOur client is a well-established and highly regarded independent financial planning firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Financial Planning Administrator to join their experienced support team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience with no financial services administration to pursue a career within the industry.

The Role

As a Financial Planning Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers throughout the advice process, ensuring clients receive a first-class service from initial enquiry through to ongoing reviews.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting Financial Advisers with the preparation of client meetings and documentation
*Requesting information, valuations and quotations from product providers
*Preparing authority letters and client documentation
*Processing new business applications and monitoring cases through to completion
*Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
*Uploading and managing client documentation in line with company procedures
*Carrying out anti-money laundering and other compliance checks
*Liaising with clients, providers and colleagues to progress cases efficiently
*Assisting with ongoing client servicing and annual review processes
*Responding to emails, telephone calls and correspondence within agreed service standards
*Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and company compliance requirements
About You
*Previous experience within an IFA or wealth management administration role is not needed
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
*Good knowledge of financial planning products and processes
*Proficient using Microsoft Office and back-office systems
*A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to delivering
