Job Description:
Full job descriptionA leading international advisory firm is looking to appoint a Global Mobility Tax Assistant Manager to join its specialist London team. With Global Mobility at the heart of its tax offering, the firm advises multinational businesses and internationally mobile employees on a wide range of complex cross-border tax matters.
You’ll manage a portfolio of expatriate clients, taking responsibility for preparing and reviewing UK Self Assessment tax returns, making strong UK personal tax compliance experience essential. Alongside compliance work, you’ll advise on UK residence and domicile matters, support tax equalisation calculations, deliver arrival and departure briefings, and work closely with overseas offices to provide seamless global tax advice.
You’ll also have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, support and mentor junior team members, and work alongside experienced senior leaders on a variety of international advisory projects.
"Several members of the leadership team have transitioned from Big 4 firms and have since enjoyed a more collaborative, less corporate working environment - while continuing to work with the same high-quality international client base."
The ideal candidate will have experience in Global Mobility or Expatriate Tax, a strong grounding in UK personal tax compliance, and be ATT, CTA or ACA qualified (or part-qualified). Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with HR teams, senior stakeholders and international clients are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, growing team where Global Mobility is a core strategic focus, offering genuine career progression, high-quality international work and the chance to develop your technical and advisory expertise.
