Job Description:
Full job descriptionIn this role you will lead complex projects and turn evidence into impactful policy and workforce insights. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the College’s Workforce Strategy, strengthening workforce intelligence and collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure the pathology profession is equipped to meet future workforce challenges.

Responsibilities:
*Oversee the design and delivery of the College Workforce Strategy.
*To establish comprehensive workforce intelligence through data gathering and analysis.
*To engage relevant stakeholder expertise to develop workforce intelligence.
*To apply workforce intelligence insights to support the College’s lobbying and advocacy work.
*To oversee the directorate’s response to external consultations from Government, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), non-departmental public bodies and other relevant organisations.
*To oversee timely, high-quality services relating to job description reviews and advisory appointment committee representatives.

Essential:
*Experience of managing a team, including leading in organisational change and people management issues.
*Experience developing policy positions, consultation responses or evidence-based briefings.
*Experience of developing, managing and reviewing departmental processes, ensuring they are streamlined and efficient.
*Uses a systematic approach to planning and organisation to ensure tasks and projects are prioritised appropriately and delivered on time and within budget.
*Maintains sufficient levels of IT skills and knowledge, including database reporting skills, and CMS skills.
