Job Description:
Full job descriptionPLEASE NOTE, THIS ROLE IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN EITHER GLASGOW OR EDINBURGH.
This role is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, forward looking Wealth Management business, who are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner. Level 4 Diploma is preferred but not essential, so long as you are studying towards it.
You will be supporting a team of 3 High Net Worth Advisers, providing research and report writing support, along with support from an Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
*Produce high-quality, accurate suitability reports
*Carry out detailed research into funds, products and solutions
*Supporting Planners by preparing illustrations, quotations, valuations and client documentation
*Analysing complex financial scenarios and contributing expert input
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
*Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes and reflecting these in advice and reporting
*Work collaboratively with Planners and administrators to deliver a consistently high standard of service
*Respond to queries from clients and colleagues in a timely, professional and solutions-focused way.
Key Requirements
*Proven experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning environment
*Diploma-level qualification (or be actively working towards it)
*Strong technical knowledge across areas such as retirement planning, tax, investments and estate planning
*Excellent report-writing skills, with experience producing a wide range of suitability reports
*Confidence using research and back-office systems,
*A high level of attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to your work
*Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain complex ideas clearly
Your application will also be considered even if you do not possess all of the above, but could demonstrate competence with the majority, provided you can quickly possess the skills required with full support.
