Our client, a leading South West based Accountancy Practice, is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their highly regarded and established team. This opportunity offers flexible hybrid working options.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven accounting professional to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including legal sector businesses, while developing their technical expertise across accounts preparation, audit, tax, and advisory services.

The responsibilities:
*Prepare year-end accounts and financial statements for a varied client base
*Support audit planning, testing, and completion activities
*Produce management accounts and financial reports
*Assist with tax returns and VAT compliance work
*Complete bookkeeping tasks and account reconciliations
*Analyse financial data to support client decisions
*Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
*Manage workloads to meet deadlines and quality standards
*Identify issues and provide practical solutions
*Support and mentor junior team members where required
The candidate:
*AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or part-qualified with practice experience
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
*Confident managing a varied workload across accounts and audit assignments
*Strong technical accounting skills with good software knowledge
*Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
*Legal sector experience and knowledge of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules advantageous but not essential.
