NRG Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business based in Redditch. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare and produce accurate financial reports and management accounts.
*Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support business growth.
*Monitor and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
*Oversee the preparation of income statements and other financial reports.
*Manage day-to-day financial transactions and reconciliations.
*Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
*Evaluate financial risks and support risk management activities.
*Assist with internal and external audit processes.
*Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders.
*Support wider business projects and operational initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements*AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant position, ideally with at least 1-2 years’ experience.
*Manufacturing sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
*Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
*Experience using Sage would be beneficial.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business.
*Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
