Key Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance*Manage and review corporate tax returns (CT600s), trust returns, and personal self-assessment tax returns.
*Ensure all filings are completed accurately and submitted within HMRC deadlines.
*Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other tax-related filings where required.
2. Tax Advisory*Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support to individuals and corporate clients.
*Advise on areas such as capital gains tax, inheritance tax, dividend planning, and business restructuring.
*Communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively to clients.
3. Client Management*Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
*Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships.
*Deliver excellent client service through clear communication and sound advice.
4. Team Leadership*Supervise and support junior members of the tax team.
*Review and provide feedback on work prepared by others.
*Promote efficient workflows and uphold quality standards across tax processes.
5. Technical & Legislative Awareness*Keep up to date with current tax legislation and HMRC developments.
*Ensure both clients and internal teams are informed of relevant changes and their implications.
6. Business Development*Identify opportunities to expand services or attract new clients.
*Support the preparation of proposals and pitches for new business.
About You*ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent).
*Significant experience in both personal and corporate tax.
*Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
*A proactive and organised approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
