An established and respected law firm in Reading is seeking a talented Conveyancing Solicitor to join its thriving Residential Property department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor to handle a varied caseload of high-quality residential conveyancing matters while benefiting from excellent career progression, strong administrative support, and a loyal client base.
The firm has built an excellent reputation for client service and continues to experience significant growth across its property team. As a result, they are looking to appoint a solicitor who can contribute to the ongoing success of the department and develop long-term relationships with clients and referrers.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Remortgages
*Transfers of equity
*New build purchases
*Shared ownership transactions
*Right to Buy matters
*Unregistered land transactions
*Help to Buy matters
*Property refinancing transactions
You will also:
*Provide exceptional client care throughout the conveyancing process
*Develop relationships with estate agents, brokers and other referrers
*Ensure files are managed efficiently and in compliance with SRA requirements
*Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
*Contribute to the continued growth of the Residential Property department
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
*NQ Solicitors through to Senior Solicitors encouraged to apply
*Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
*Strong technical knowledge of residential property law
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills
*Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
*Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
