Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are working on behalf of one of our well-established clients and they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role will involve supporting the payroll function alongside general accounts duties. The ideal candidate will be someone who is organised, accurate and confident using Microsoft Excel.
What’s on offer:
*Temporary to Permanent
*Hourly rate of circa £13 - £14
*Office-based circa 37.5 hours a week
Duties and Responsibilities as the Accounts Assistant:
*Assisting with payroll processing and timesheets
*Maintaining accurate payroll and financial records
*Supporting purchase and sales ledger activities
*Processing invoices and bank reconciliations
*Using Microsoft Excel to analyze and manage financial data
*Providing general administrative support to the finance team
Skills and Requirements:
*Recent previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Payroll experience or exposure
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Available to start immediately or within the next two weeks
