Transport: Driver required due to location

About the Role
This specialist independent SEMH provision set in a unique and nurturing environment. We are seeking a passionate and resilient Class Teacher to work across Primary (KS2), supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated teacher who thrives in a supportive team and is committed to making a meaningful difference in students’ lives through high-quality teaching and strong pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities
*Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment that supports SEMH learners
*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS2
*Work closely with and direct Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil support
*Implement effective behaviour management strategies and uphold high expectations
*Monitor progress through regular assessment, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
*Support the development of literacy and communication skills across the curriculum
*Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole-school development
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS2 students
* Experience or strong interest in SEMH / SEN settings
* Strong behaviour management and relational teaching approach
* Ability to deliver creative and adaptable lessons
* A collaborative and positive team player
