Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing technology business to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Cardiff-based finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a market-leading organisation operating across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with the Financial Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audits and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.
The RoleKey responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Supporting the delivery of group reporting packs
*Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and external audits
*Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end controls
*Revenue analysis and reporting
*Fixed asset accounting and maintenance of asset registers
*VAT and other regulatory compliance reporting
*Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, processes and reporting
*Providing meaningful financial insight to operational stakeholders across the business
About YouWe’re looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
*Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
*Experience supporting statutory audits
*Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
*A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
