We are seeking a professional and vigilant Control Room Operator to support the safety and security of our estate through effective monitoring and incident management.
The RoleAs a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, managing access control, responding to security incidents, and maintaining accurate records. Working as part of a dedicated security team, you will help ensure the safety of people, property, and assets while delivering an efficient and professional service.
Key Responsibilities*Monitor CCTV systems to maintain the security of the estate and respond appropriately to security breaches.
*Accurately record and report all incidents in accordance with established procedures.
*Manage the issue and return of security keys, access cards, and visitor passes.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
*Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security protocols.
*Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to deliver an efficient security service.
*Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence as required.
*Undertake any other duties requested by management within the scope of the role.
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in a security control room or similar security environment.
*Experience monitoring and operating CCTV surveillance systems.
*Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
*Highly computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
*Professional, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
