NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and award-winning B2B marketing agency who are seeking an experienced Group Account Director to join their Client Services leadership team in a full-time, permanent capacity based in Bournemouth.

The successful candidate will take ownership of one of the agency’s largest and most strategically significant client accounts, leading commercial growth, overseeing complex digital programmes and developing long-standing client relationships across multiple international markets. Your Roles and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
*Acting as the senior strategic lead across a major international client account, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term partnership success
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across multiple European markets
*Taking ownership of account performance, commercial growth, forecasting, profitability and long-term strategic planning
*Leading the development of strategic responses to client briefs while identifying opportunities to expand services and generate additional revenue
*Overseeing the successful delivery of complex digital marketing programmes across multiple platforms, markets and workstreams
*Driving operational excellence by continually reviewing processes and implementing improvements across account delivery
*Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing client services team, providing coaching and support to encourage professional growth
*Acting as the primary escalation point for both client and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally
*Reporting account performance, commercial opportunities and potential risks to the wider leadership team
*Collaborating closely with strategy, creative, production, development and content teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
What You Will Need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within an Account Director or Group Account Director position, ideally gained within a B2B marketing, creative or integrated agency environment.
Applicants should possess a proven track record of managing large-scale digital programmes and leading complex client relationships, alongside extensive experience overseeing the commercial performance and strategic growth of major client accounts.
Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, with previous responsibility for managing, mentoring and developing high-performing client services teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills will be essential, with confidence engaging senior executives and international clients while building trusted, long-term partnerships.
Strong commercial awareness, including experience with forecasting, profitability, account planning and revenue growth, will be critical for success in this position. Previous exposure to clients operating within financial services, fintech or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous, although not essential.
The successful individual will be highly organised, commercially focused and strategically minded, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced agency environment. They will enjoy balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional standards of client service and team leadership.

For the successful candidate, a highly competitive salary starting of up to £65,000 will be offered, dependent upon experience, alongside an attractive benefits package.
