The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Redditch that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support its finance function and continued growth.
This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking to further develop their career within a commercially focused business.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Deliver variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on business performance.
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
*Analyse manufacturing costs, stock movements, and operational KPIs.
*Support cost control and profitability improvement initiatives.
*Work closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support.
*Maintain accurate financial data within MRP/MRM or ERP systems.
*Assist with year-end accounts and audit preparation.
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
Requirements
*AAT Level 4 qualified.
*Currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
*Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
*Experience using MRP/MRM or ERP systems.
*Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
*Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
*Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
