The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be confident delivering high-quality phonics teaching using Letters and Sounds. Previous experience teaching phonics is essential.
The Role*Full-time Year 1 Class Teacher
*September start
*Based in Welling, Bexley
*Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Year 1 curriculum
*Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress
*Deliver high-quality phonics sessions using the Letters and Sounds programme
*Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
*Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school or successful completion of teacher training placements
*Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1 is highly desirable
*Essential experience delivering phonics using the Letters and Sounds programme
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A passion for supporting every child to reach their full potential
