This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Working within the Learning Support Department, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their individual goals.
The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
*Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with additional learning needs.
*Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
*Supporting students with academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
*Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
*Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
*Helping to create a safe, nurturing and supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking ForThe successful candidate will have:Essential Qualifications
*GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
*A genuine passion for supporting children and young people in education.
*Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Desirable QualificationsAdditional qualifications relating to SEND, Child Development or Education.

Experience & Skills
*Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, youth work or support setting.
*Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst using your own initiative.
*A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
