Are you an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coach looking to inspire the next generation?
We are seeking a motivated Sports Coach to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about physical education, health, and wellbeing, and enjoys making a positive impact on young people’s lives.
Working across a range of year groups, you will deliver engaging sports sessions, promote healthy lifestyles, and support pupils both in PE lessons and throughout the wider school day.
The RoleAs a Sports Coach, you will:
*Deliver high-quality PE lessons and sports activities.
*Support pupils of all abilities to participate, develop confidence, and enjoy physical activity.
*Lead lunchtime and after-school sports clubs.
*Assist teachers with classroom activities where required.
*Encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour.
*Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate.
*Help organise school sporting events, competitions, and enrichment activities.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has:
*Experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting.
*A recognised coaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
*Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
*A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
*The ability to motivate and engage pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs would be an advantage but is not essential.
