Full job descriptionOur client, Leicestershire County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its newly-formed Duty team in Adult Social Care.


The role is likely to last up to 12 months.


Paid at £34 per hour (umbrella).


The role will involve the following:
*Undertaking a specialist duty role
*Taking the duty function out of the community / case management teams and turning it into a focused role
*Triage, risk assessment, threshold decisions, signposting etc.
*Covering the Charnwood area
*Working with older adults or adults with learning or physical disabilities or mental health conditions etc. – excellent opportunity to upskill
*Predominantly office-based role

Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
*Must be able to travel to the Charnwood area easily and attend the County Hall office site (LE3 8RA) most of the week
