Our client is a growing, niche accountancy firm who provide accounting solutions to the creative sector. If you’re a qualified accountant or part qualified assistant accountant, who wants to work in a genuinely supportive environment, which is as far from grey and suited as you can get, this could be your next move. The role is based at the firm’s offices near Whitley Bay.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing limited company accounts and corporation tax returns
* Handling VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
* Owning a portfolio of artists and studios— building relationships that go beyond the numbers
* Mentoring and supporting an Accounts Assistant, helping shape the next generation of talent
What You’ll Bring
* Practice experience is essential
* ACCA (part-qualified or qualified) or AAT/MAAT qualification
* A positive, self-starting attitude — you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder
* A genuine enjoyment of working with people, not just spreadsheets
