Are you a strategic finance professional ready to make a significant impact? We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Business Partner for our client who are a growing London market insurance company, playing a crucial role in driving financial excellence across our organization. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead complex financial analysis, improve reporting processes, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape business success.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of insightful monthly and quarterly management reports, enhance automation in financial data analysis, and provide in-depth variance analysis for regulated entities. You will support annual planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling, ensuring financial strategies align with business objectives. Your expertise will enable actionable insights that improve performance and drive strategic decision-making.

Required Skills:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with up to 5 years post-qualification experience
Strong understanding of underwriting economics and performance drivers
Proven ability to produce management information at an executive level
Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
Sound technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; IFRS17 experience desirable
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Oracle (EBS)
Confident stakeholder engagement with senior management
Strong control mindset with meticulous attention to detail
Effective task planning and time management to meet regulatory deadlines

Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working on financial systems development or automation projects
Knowledge of actuarial, risk, or underwriting operations
Experience with financial planning software and business intelligence tools

Preferred Education and Experience:
Degree-level education in finance, accounting, or related field
Up to 5 years post-qualification experience in a finance role within a regulated environment
Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives

Other Requirements:
Ability to collaborate across various departments including actuarial, underwriting, claims, and operations
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
