Full job descriptionOur client, Coventry City Council, is seeking an Advanced Practitioner for its Children in Care team.


This post will last 3 months initially paid at £33.30.

The role will involve the following:


*Children in Care 0-12s
*We support children through the court process and their future journey through the care system, whether this is adoption, fostering, connected persons or reunification.
*All children in care duties, inclusive of undertaking court work from interim care order all the way through to conclusion.
*Supporting via care orders
*Supervision orders
*Child protection and child in need
*Team working and keeping children at the heart of all decision making.
*Location: One Friargate Coventry, CV1 2GN
*Hybrid working arrangement




Requirements of the role:


*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have a strong background in children’s social care
*Must have experience of undertaking all children in care statutory duties including court work
