Our Bradford secondary school is seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role, ensuring the smooth and effective running of our school’s financial, administrative, and operational functions.
About the Role
*Lead on school finance, budgeting, and resource planning
*Oversee HR processes, recruitment administration, and staff compliance
*Manage site operations, health & safety, and contracts
*Support strategic planning with the senior leadership team
*Ensure the school meets statutory and regulatory requirements
This position requires availability for two preparatory working weeks in August (w/c 17th and 24th), followed by a full-time start in September.
Essential Requirements
*Previous experience working in a school setting - this is non-negotiable
*Strong financial acumen and confidence working with school budgets
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
*Knowledge of school MIS systems and operational procedures
