Full job descriptionAn Electro-Mechanical Technician with experience of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Manufacturing environment; with good assembly, soldering and wiring experience as well as good fault-finding abilities, will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician should bring the following skills & experience:
*An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
*Proficiency in electromechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring and cable/harness assembly.
*PCB repair skills.
*Good fault-finding and debugging skills.
*An understanding of clean room techniques.
*The ability to read schematics.
*An understanding of SolidWorks or similar mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
