*Pay Rate: £13.69 PAYE
*Location: Wakefield Council, Featherstone, Wakefield, West Yorkshire
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (5 weeks)
Wakefield Council are looking for two reliable and organised Fleet & Workshop Support Officer to provide temporary cover. This role is crucial for supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks during our recruitment period.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email, directing queries to the appropriate team members.
*Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, photocopying, and document preparation.
*Maintain and update databases, records, and tracking systems.
*Support the team with coordination of workloads, task follow-ups, and basic reporting.
*Assist with purchasing, raising orders, and processing invoices where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Previous administrative experience in a busy environment.
