Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client is a growing retailer in the home appliances sector, supplying premium products through its own eCommerce website and a range of leading online marketplaces. As their online presence continues to expand, they are now seeking a Junior eCommerce Executive to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in eCommerce, gaining hands-on experience across multiple online sales channels while working alongside an experienced eCommerce team. The successful candidate will play an important role in managing product listings, maintaining marketplace performance and supporting the continued growth of the business’s digital sales channels.
The Day-to-Day
*Creating and launching new product listings across multiple eCommerce platforms.
*Updating product information, pricing and stock levels.
*Maintaining and optimising existing listings to improve performance.
*Managing product imagery, specifications and written content.
*Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Supporting the growth of marketplace channels, including Amazon and other leading online retailers.
*Carrying out day-to-day eCommerce administration and platform maintenance.
*Working closely with the wider eCommerce team on new projects and ongoing improvements.
The Ideal Candidate
*A genuine interest in eCommerce and online retail; ideally, experience in both.
*Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
*Comfortable learning new systems and working across multiple platforms.
*An understanding of how online marketplaces operate and the challenges associated with each.
*Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
*A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
*An analytical mindset and enthusiasm for improving online performance.
*Previous experience with Shopify or online marketplaces would be advantageous but is not essential.
What’s on Offer
*Starting salary of £28,000 with a view to increasing once probation has been passed. 35-hour week M to F / 9 am to 5 pm - fully remote, with laptop and mobile supplied.
