Contract: Temp to Perm | Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: Teachers’ Pay Scale + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
£2,500 Joining Bonus Available
£1,250 paid on joining and £1,250 paid following successful probation

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will lead a small class of learners with complex needs, delivering engaging and personalised lessons that support both academic progress and personal development.
Working closely with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, and families, you will help create meaningful learning experiences that enable every student to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
Whether your background is in mainstream or specialist education, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach with purpose and make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
*Support learners to develop communication, independence, social, and life skills alongside academic achievement.
*Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, and families.
*Monitor, assess, and celebrate learner progress and achievement.
*Contribute to EHCP targets and person-centred planning.
*Promote positive outcomes that support preparation for adulthood.
About You
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
*Experience working with SEND learners, ideally within specialist or post-16 settings.
*Creative, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and high aspirations for every learner.
*Able to inspire confidence, independence, and resilience in young people.
