Job Description:
Full job descriptionKenneth Brian Associates is working with a rapidly growing company in this newly created role to recruit a FP&A Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the FP&A Manager you will partner with operations, sales, and external stakeholders to ensure robust financial and commercial management of high-value, long-term projects.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
*Lead the annual budgeting process across departments
*Own and continuously improve the budget and forecast model
*Develop scenario modelling and long-term planning (3–5 year outlook)
*Challenge assumptions to ensure robust and realistic projections
Management Reporting & Analysis
*Deliver monthly performance reporting with clear insights and commentary
*Analyse variances (budget vs actual vs forecast) and identify trends
*Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance
*Develop KPI dashboards and enhance reporting capability
Financial Modelling
*Build and maintain robust financial models (e.g. investment appraisals, ROI analysis)
*Support M&A or capital investment analysis where applicable
*Deliver scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Process Improvement
*Improve existing planning and reporting processes
*Enhance use of systems, automation, and data tools
Requirements:
*ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification
*Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience
*Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
*Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
*Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
*Ability to communicate financial insight clearly to non-financial stakeholders
