4 day week OR 5 day week available!
As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Leading the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements
*Driving quality strategy, KPIs and governance across the Blandford site (with travel to Poole when required)
*Overseeing APQP and ensuring accurate, on-time PPAP submissions
*Implementing in-process quality controls, including audits, error-proofing and process capability studies
*Managing customer and supplier quality performance, including complaints, audits and corrective actions
*Reducing scrap, rework and cost of poor quality through data-driven problem solving
As a Quality Manager, your experience will include:
*Leadership experience within manufacturing quality management
*Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA
*Hands-on experience with metrology, GD&T, jigs, fixtures and capability analysis
*Exposure to processes such as forming, fabricating, welding, machining or assembly
*Confident customer-facing communication and supplier development skills
*A structured, analytical approach to problem solving using tools such as 8D and 5-Why
