Full job description Motor Underwriter | Hybrid Working
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Underwriter to join a growing underwriting team, supporting the Underwriting Director within a well-established insurance business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong personal lines motor underwriting experience who enjoys working closely with insurers, supporting sales teams and making commercial underwriting decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
Assessing and responding to underwriting referrals
Managing relationships with insurers and presenting bespoke risks
Supporting underwriting performance and monitoring insurer loss ratios
Acting as the underwriting point of contact for the sales team
Assisting with scheme performance and portfolio management
We’re looking for:
3+ years’ experience in Personal Lines Motor Underwriting
Experience of Motor Insurance Schemes
Knowledge of bespoke/niche motor risks
Strong understanding of underwriting performance and insurer loss ratios
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Hybrid working available
Rotating shift pattern (including 1 in 3 Saturdays)
