Full job descriptionCommercial Account Executive


*Responsible for the development of new commercial Insurance business and driving the growth of the business.
*Front and centre with clients, prospects and introducers building relationships.
*Working with clients and prospects via telephone, Teams and on a face to face basis, usually attending their premises.
*Taking new business opportunities through the full sales cycle from inception to closure.
*Taking advantage of cross sales opportunity that exists within the book.
*Developing new business opportunities through sales and marketing activities such as attending networking events, working on targeted sales campaigns, telemarketing and contacting lapsed clients.
*Working across a variety of trades and sectors including, Construction, Property Owners, Hospitality, Retail, Leisure and Manufacturing.
*Handling a wide range of insurance classes including Property, EL, PL, Commercial Combined, PI, D&O, Fleet and Cyber.
*Targeting clients in the £10-50k GWP range whilst also working on the odd larger client.
*Placement of own risk into the market.
*Hybrid working with lots of flexibility to run own diary.
