Veritas Education is currently recruiting Unqualified Cover Supervisors to support a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Carlisle and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience and take the first step towards a career in education.
The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will:
*Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
*Support pupils in completing their work and remaining engaged
*Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
*Gain practical experience within secondary schools
We Are Looking ForConfident and reliable individuals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with young people is desirable
Positive role models who can engage and motivate students
Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
