Alexander Lloyd are partnering exclusively with a well-established business based in Crawley to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a purchasing or supply chain professional to join a fast-paced environment focused on inventory management, forecasting, supplier coordination, and stock optimisation.
There is a strong possibility that the role will convert into a permanent position at the end of the contract, making this an excellent long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities*Manage inventory levels to maximise stock availability and minimise shortages
*Analyse sales trends and forecasts to support purchasing decisions
*Raise purchase orders and manage supplier deliveries
*Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
*Support new product launches and lifecycle management activities
*Monitor inbound shipments and proactively resolve supply chain issues
About You*Previous experience in purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain roles
*Strong Excel skills, with Power BI experience advantageous
*Experience working within a distribution, wholesale, or B2B environment
*Organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
