Hays Education are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Preston, part of a successful and supportive multi-academy trust, to recruit a Geography Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026 for the duration of one term.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Geography specialist to join a thriving school community known for its strong leadership, positive ethos, and focus on student achievement.
The Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations.
*Inspire students of varying abilities to develop a curiosity and understanding of the world around them
*Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
*Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning

What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
*Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
*A passion for Geography and the ability to motivate and engage students
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
