As part of our growth plan, we are pleased to announce we have completed the operational business transition of a new home to Hallmark Luxury Care Homes, and the home will now be known as Hallmark Esher Residences. This marks the first of 15 homes we plan to acquire or develop by 2030, and we are thrilled to have taken the first big step towards achieving this goal. Hallmark Esher Residences is a beautiful 37-bed Grade II listed home alongside a new, state-of-the-art 20-bed property, and further extends our residential, nursing, and dementia care presence across Surrey. We are excited to welcome both the residents and team members into Hallmark Luxury Care Home.

About the Role
Working as part of a highly committed team at Hallmark, the Deputy Care Home Manager is one of the key roles within our homes and is vital support for our General Mangers.
As Deputy Care Home Manager your gentle touch will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. At Hallmark we pride ourselves on the warmth and support we provide to our residents and their families like with an everyday chat or just a phone call away. We like to see our residents happy and jovial and where possible create independence, dignity, and quality of life always in a person centred caring and supportive environment.
As Deputy Manager, you will
*Support with leading the wider team to ensure they are aligned with the Hallmark charter, vision and values
*Lead care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents’ care.
*Ensure clinical and care team are adhering to the requirements of their codes of conduct
*Communicate effectively with team members, residents and their families
*Have an adaptable and flexible approach to the role and nature of a care home environment
About You:
The Deputy Care Home Manager is a motivational and inspirational leader, who has the ability to motivate, engage, and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open and relaxed communication style. Naturally, we would expect the Deputy Care Home Manager to achieve a high standard of clinical care by auditing, analysing trends and directing care team to deliver great results.
A key to success in this role is the ability to communicate with ease with CQC, Social Services and the Safeguarding teams. The ability to implement action plans for improvement and build a reputation of high-quality care delivery for the home.
*Proven experience of post-qualification Practice in a health and social care setting with older people
*Previous experience of leading a team (ideally 2 years)
*Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding
*Good IT skills and confidence in computer based work
Be approachable to a diverse group of people and develop meaningful relationships
