Full job descriptionA welcoming and inclusive primary school is seeking an experienced HLTA – Alternative Provision Lead to take a key role in supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and nurturing practitioner who is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
The Role
*Lead the day-to-day delivery of the school’s Alternative Provision.
*Deliver personalised learning programmes and targeted interventions for individual pupils and small groups.
*Support pupils to develop emotional regulation, independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
*Work closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff, parents and external professionals to implement effective support plans.
*Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments.
*Help pupils successfully access and engage in mainstream learning where appropriate.
About You
*Significant experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD and behavioural needs.
*Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
*Able to build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals.
*Calm, resilient and committed to creating a nurturing learning environment.
*Passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
