Key Responsibilities
*Set, operate and monitor Ratio Turning Machine Centres.
*Interpret engineering drawings and work to GD&T requirements.
*Inspect components using handheld and electronic measuring equipment.
*Complete quality control documentation and production records.
*Prepare machines with the correct tooling and fixtures.
*Package finished components and transfer them to the next process.
*Work collaboratively within a manufacturing cell to meet production targets.
*Support continuous improvement and maintain high health and safety standards.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience as a Ratio Cell Turner Operator or CNC Turning Operator.
*Strong understanding of CNC machine setup methodologies.
*Knowledge of ISO Fanuc G-codes and general tool paths.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Experience working to tight tolerances and GD&T standards.
*Competent using precision measuring equipment.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*A proactive approach to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
