Job Description:
Full job descriptionWorkshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer producing high-performance composite components for a range of advanced industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to their team, with opportunities available on both day and night shifts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist seeking long-term stability, regular overtime and the chance to work on precision-engineered components in a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
*Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
*Program and edit CNC code for complex, high-precision parts.
*Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
*Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
*Follow SOPs and machining procedures.
*Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine machine maintenance.
*Maintain accurate production and tooling records.
Skills & Experience
*Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis machining.
*Confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
*Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Good communication and teamworking abilities.
*Commitment to safe working practices.
*Flexibility to work overtime when required.

*Day Shift: Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed).
