Full job descriptionDo you enjoy taking a product from an initial concept through to full-scale production? Are you naturally curious, practical and always looking for better ways to manufacture?
We’re recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an innovative and growing manufacturer where you’ll play a key role in developing new materials, products and manufacturing processes.
Working closely with technical and production teams, you’ll bridge the gap between R&D and manufacturing, ensuring new products are successfully introduced into production efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
What you’ll be doing:*Developing new products and materials from concept through to full production.
*Designing, testing and refining manufacturing processes.
*Producing production methods, work instructions and technical documentation.
*Supporting prototyping, trials and product validation.
*Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and product performance.
*Working alongside production, quality and commercial teams to ensure successful product launches.
What we’re looking for:*Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Product Development or Materials Science.
*Comfortable working with prototypes, product trials and process development.
*A practical, hands-on approach combined with strong analytical skills.
*Experience introducing new products into manufacture would be highly advantageous.
*An interest in sustainable materials or manufacturing would be a real bonus.
*Experience within the construction products or building materials sector would be beneficial, although not essential.
