ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is delighted to be working with a unique and nurturing primary school in Greenwich that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS*Location - Greenwich, South East London
*Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
*Type of work - Classroom support, intervention work, lesson cover, small group and 1:1 support, assisting with planning and assessment where required
*Contract or position start date - September 2026
*Duration / Likely Duration - Full Academic Year
*Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2027
*Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Contract
*Full time/part time - Full Time
*Minimum rate of pay - £120 - £150 per day
*Hours - 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
*Minimum 1 year of experience working within a UK primary school
*Experience covering whole-class lessons is desirable
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years
