Full job description

A great opportunity for an experienced Lloyd’s finance professional to join a growing Syndicate Finance team. This role owns the accuracy of Syndicate financials, supporting monthly/quarterly reporting, regulatory submissions and maintaining strong financial controls as well as supporting on a variety of finance change initiatives
.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure integrity of the Syndicate general ledger and oversee monthly balance sheet recs

*Support monthly flash results, exec reporting and quarterly board packs

*Assist with Lloyd’s regulatory returns and statutory reporting

*Lead external audit deliverables

*To assist in the design and automation of Syndicate Finance reports as appropriate
*Support implementation of changes to core business finance processes where required
*Support the harmonisation of data between the Financial Ledger and Data Warehouse
You’ll Bring
*Strong Lloyd’s or London Market insurance experience

*Deep understanding of UK GAAP & Lloyd’s reporting

*Excellent control mindset and reconciliation review experience

*Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills

*Proactive, detail-oriented approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
