We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to company health, safety, and quality standards. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and demonstrate flexibility in supporting a variety of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods.
*Process internal and external deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
*Maintain inventory accuracy and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation principles.
*Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials.
*Support day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
*Safely handle manual lifting and physically demanding tasks..
*Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse/workshop environment.
*Assist the wider warehouse team in meeting operational and customer requirements.
Essential Requirements
*Previous warehouse experience is essential.
*Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
*Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
*Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
*Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Good level of spoken and written English.
Desirable Skills
*Experience using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
*Knowledge of stock control and inventory processes.
*Experience working within a warehouse or workshop environment.
